The Fashion Influencer Journey, Fashion tips and Positive Lifestyle

                                               The Fashion/Influencing Lifestyle

Fashion influencing for me is creating your own lifestyle around clothes, shoes, and every other thing that comes about with fashion. For starters, FASHION IS ALL ABOUT YOU. Fashion itself is from within because money can buy clothes, shoes, the expensive accessories but it can't buy the style, only you can do that. STYLE IS FROM WITHIN = STEEZE, basically, real fashion can't be copied or taught, it has to be born and experienced. Fashion is a lifestyle, how you feel like dressing should turn out to be something special and inspiring. According to Gianni Versacehe said: Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, and what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.
Most importantly, fashion is ART and you are your own ARTIST. That is why I mentioned earlier that fashion is a lifestyle and cannot be taught, copied, or borrowed, it should be unique and come from the soul of the artist.
Personally, I began my journey as a fashion influencer about five years ago, back in 2019. I always had a desire to shake things up in the fashion world, to express my unique style, and to create my own brand. That's why I started my own label called Hendrix, which later became Ancient, and now it's known as THE WAVE.
My goal has always been to bring something fresh to the fashion scene and to show people that whatever you dream or imagine is already inside you – you just need to nurture it and let it flourish. Growing up as an influencer wasn't easy at all. There were times when I faced ridicule and disbelief, even from close friends. But that's life. It doesn't mean you should hold grudges against those who doubt you.
Think about it – imagine the Wright brothers telling people they were going to create a massive flying machine that could stay in the air for hours. Their friends and family might have thought they were crazy. But that's okay. As long as you believe in yourself and your dreams, anything is possible.
Being an influencer in any field comes with its highs and lows. There will be moments when you feel like giving up, heartbreaks, and times when you feel stuck. But it's all part of the journey. The key is to keep pushing forward.
Below, I'll share some of my personal experiences, how I made it through, and some tips on becoming a fashion influencer or an influencer in any niche, along with some fashion advice and how to live and cultivate a positive lifestyle

AN INFLUENCER LIFESTYLE

                            The Fashion Influencer Journey

Defining Fashion Influencing:

A fashion influencer is someone who specializes in fashion and influences trends. Fashion influencing involves creating new styles and inspiring people to try them. Anyone can become an influencer or a fashion influencer. All it takes is courage, passion, and determination to be unique. Influencers aren't afraid to experiment and welcome constructive feedback. You can become an influencer by adopting these qualities and having the power to inspire others. Personally, I didn't have all these traits when I started, but I realized I needed them to achieve my goals and slowly I achieved my dreams. THIS IS THE SECRET: embrace these qualities, and success will come.

Starting Out:

I remember when I started in 2019, I felt lost. I didn't know what to do or what kind of content to make. For three years, I tried different things, but I wasn't getting closer to my dreams. You see, you can't do everything. The first step to becoming an influencer is picking your focus. I know, "niche" sounds fancy, but really, it's just about finding what you love and showing it to the world, YOUR PASSION.

What are you good at? What do you like to talk about? That's your niche. It doesn't matter if it's popular or not. Two years ago, I chose fashion because I loved trying out new outfits and trends. Once you've figured this out, you're on your way!

Now, for those interested in fashion, don't worry if clothes seem expensive. Fashion comes from within, not what you buy. You don't always need the latest trends. Thrift shopping is great! It's not about being cheap or poor; it's all about turning old clothes into something extraordinary.

Start with the basics in your niche, but make sure to stand out. The goal is to create your own brand and be noticed online.

So, what's your passion? Let's move on to the next step!

Building and Growing
Once you've found your niche, the next steps are to grow your influence, build relationships, and overcome challenges. To boost your online presence, try creating engaging content, interacting with others, and making your content relatable to a wide audience. Remember, your content isn't just about you – it's about helping, inspiring, or solving someone's problem.

Building relationships is key. Consider joining or creating a group of fellow content creators to support each other and collaborate with small brands or influencers from different niches. This can help expand your reach and influence.

Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Be a problem solver by offering solutions to common challenges faced by fashion influencers or influencers in general. Share tips for overcoming these obstacles and keep pushing forward.

THE INFLUENCER JOURNEY

FASHION TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

Understanding personal style:

I'll keep it simple! Style comes from knowing yourself. Take a quiet moment alone and ask: Who am I? Once you know, half your problems are solved. I'll share five questions that, when answered, will solve your problems and show in your appearance. But first, know yourself.

When I was young, I was rude and arrogant. I didn't think I needed help and felt superior to others. This held me back because I didn't know myself. I acted this way because I was insecure, with nothing to back up my worth. Once I discovered myself, everything changed. Now, I'm building myself and my influence. I know I can win, and so can you, because no one can stop me from being who I'm meant to be. That's the essence of personal style: knowing yourself.

Building a wardrobe and staying trendy on a budget:

This is mainly for those interested in fashion. Having a good wardrobe matters, but it's even more crucial to stick to a budget. As I mentioned earlier, thrifting is a great option. Where you get your clothes doesn't matter as much as how you style them.

For beginners, I recommend starting with basic pieces and colors like plain black and white tees, black and blue jeans, and hoodies in neutral colors. Also, add one pair of black pants. The more basic pieces you have, the more outfits you can create because the colors will mix well together. And remember, always stick to your budget.

Accessorizing and Styling:

I used to struggle with accessorizing because I thought it was mainly for women. Growing up, I only wore basic accessories like watches and glasses. But now, I realize how important accessories are. As Marc Jacobs said, 'Any opportunity to adorn oneself is human, and accessories are an easy way to do it.' Accessories should complement your outfits, not overshadow them. It's all about finding the right balance. Michael Kors said, 'The perfect accessory can make the difference between looking blah and totally to die for.' Basic accessories like watches, necklaces, bracelets, and rings can make a big difference. But it's not just about having them – you also need to know how to use them.                                Cultivating a Positive Lifestyle

Mindful Consumption:

Mindful consumption is really important for your personal growth and your brand. Mindful consumption means being aware of what you're taking in. It's like that saying, "You are what you think." I totally agree with it. Our body has three ways to take in information: through our ears, our eyes, and our mouth. Two of these go straight to our mind. So, if you're what you think, it means you're also what you see and hear. If all you see and hear are negative things, your life might turn out negative. But if you fill your mind with positive words, movies, music, books, and maybe even religious texts like the Bible, I promise your life will get better. Your friends matter too. If they're always negative, it can bring you down. But if they're positive and supportive, you'll feel unstoppable. So, be careful what you let into your mind. You really are what you think!

Self-Care Rituals:

These are simple, positive activities that you can do every day. Having a self-care routine is really important, and my life got better when I started one for myself. Self-care can be as simple as exercising, taking care of your skin, drinking water, reading positive words, listening to sermons or podcasts, writing down your thoughts, and finding a quiet place to relax. These activities help you feel refreshed, keep you healthy and productive, and give you a sense of self-respect.

The best part about self-care is that you're the only one who can do it. It's important to remember to take responsibility for yourself! When I started my self-care routine, my life improved, my thinking became more positive, and I became comfortable spending time alone. I gained self-respect and felt happier.

In 2021, I began my self-care journey, and I'm happy to share my current self-care secrets. My routine is divided into morning and night:
- 4:00 AM: Wake up
- 4:10 AM: Spend time praying (This can be done based on your religion, but it's important to find time to connect with a higher power)
- 5:00 AM: Exercise (Exercising is great for your body in many ways. It boosts confidence, determination, and energy.)
- 6:00 AM: Clean my environment and myself
- 7:00 AM: Read a positive or life-changing book
- 8:00 AM: Read the Bible
- 8:30 AM: Plan my day
- 9:00 AM: Start my day

Following a positive routine like this can make your life more bearable and joyful. You might not be able to follow mine exactly, but it's important to create your own routine and stick to it faithfully because only you can take care of yourself!

Balancing offline and offline life:

Balancing life as an influencer can be super tough! You've got your online world where you connect with people who might change your life, and your offline life where you hang out with family and friends – both super important. Plus, you've got school, work, and maybe even sports or other activities to juggle. Here are some tips I use to keep it all together:

1) Create Different Groups: I have different groups for different parts of my life, like a Bible study group, a school group, a social media group, and an adventure group. Even if I only meet with each group once a week, I know I'm spending quality time with the people I care about.

2) Weekly Planning: Instead of planning day by day, I plan my week ahead. Mondays are for shooting videos, Tuesdays for editing, Wednesdays for schoolwork, Thursdays for hanging out with friends, Fridays for blogging, Saturdays for family time, and Sundays for Bible study. Planning like this takes a load off my shoulders!

Remember, never sacrifice one part of your life for another. Find a balance and enjoy every moment to the fullest!

Spreading Positivity:

As an influencer or just someone in any field, it's really important to lift others up. When you speak positively to others, you start believing those good things about yourself too. So, always take the chance to encourage people. Leave them feeling better than before because you never know, your words could be exactly what someone needs to hear to keep going or to reach success. That's an amazing feeling, trust me.

Avoid negative talk, especially about others. Gossiping doesn't do any good. If you gossip about someone, chances are others will gossip about you too. So, steer clear of it. Try to see the good in everyone, even if they've done some not-so-great things. Being kind is priceless and it always pays off in the end.

Now, if you're dreaming of becoming an influencer, especially in fashion, or if you're already one, here are some tips from me. We're all learning as we go, right? I hope these tips help those interested in fashion and living a positive life. Remember, it's not just about reading this stuff, it's about putting it into action. That's the key to making it your lifestyle.

Before I go, let me leave you with five questions that changed my life. Maybe they'll do the same for you:

1) Who am I? (Identity)
2)Where am I from? (Source)
3)Why am I here? (Purpose)
4)What can I do? (Potential)
5)Where am I going? (Destiny)
Oh, and feel free to share your own tips, stories, and experiences. You might just help someone out there who needs it.
